Apparently, they are a direct rip off of some other actors doing the
same thing, but I don't know who or care, for that matter. Must be the
American version...anyway, I thought they were amusing.

The ads we have on Aust. TV are the US ads. Personally I think its one of
the most misconceived ad campaigns I've ever seen, the PC guy is
sympathetic and the Mac guy is smarmy and superior.
